What is a Security deposit? We ask for 300 euro deposit on arrival, in the form of cash, euro cheque, or credit card to insure against ‘unreasonable damage’ to property. This deposit is refunded the day of departure, cheques are usually just held for the period of your stay, and credit cards are not charged unless necessary. It won’t be used for a broken glass, but if the whole crockery set is broken then it will.
